A series of Facebook posts by Nashua school board member Doris Hohensee has district officials calling for her to resign. The controversy began when a Nashua High School North senior started a petition to ask the school board to reverse its decision allowing ROTC marksmanship classes on campus. Board member Doris Hohensee then posted about the student's petition on the Facebook page of conservative blog Granite Grok, urging readers to visit the student's page and encouraging a "backlash from reasonable parents and students."
